Jay Codina - Lead Vocals, Lead, Rhythm, and Slide Guitar


Jay has extensive experience playing guitar and singing. He specializes in open tunings and slide, a la Keith Richards. Jay has played on the Phoenix Valley club circuit for the last nine years, with the groups Electric Mud and Blue Tattoo. Jay’s  bands have played such well-known venues as Hard Rock Cafe, Cooper’stown, and the Stone San Francisco. He has also played overseas with the band Moonshine in Japan, Guam, and Okinawa. He worked in San Francisco with the band JetBoy. Jay played in support acts for groups such as Pat Travers, Gary Lewis, Joe Perry Project, Enuff Znuff, Two Bit Thief and JetBoy, to name just a few. His band Aunt Foxx backed up Chuck Berry at a performance overseas. Jay has also played and auditioned for Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), Billy Carmassi (Aldo Nova), Lizzie Gray (London),  and Britney Fox.  Jay has done studio work on Andy Andersen's Two Bit Thief album "Another Sad Story in the Big City", with a video airing on Headbanger's Ball in the 1990s. Jay also recorded with producer/engineer Matt Wallace of Faith No More fame.  Jay had a local San Francisco radio hit a few years back on KMLE radio with his song Don’t Blame It On The Blues. Jay recently played on the Faster Pussycat / Bang Tango / Bulletboys 09 summer tour as the lead guitarist with Bang Tango. Jay is currently working on a project with guitarist Jimmhy Crespo, formerly with Aerosmith and Rod Stewart. Jay also has plans in the new year to work with Marco Mendoza. (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake)


Don Church- Drums and Percussion


Don was born in Boulder Colorado. he has been playing the drums for as long as he can remember.  He has played and recorded with many bands such as Aces and Eights, StoryTeller, Route 66 Band and The Relics to name a few, He has opened for such national acts, such as Tesla, Slaughter, Warrant, Dokken / Lynch Mob, and Goo Goo Dolls to name a few,. His drumming influences include John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge-Pat Travers- Ozzy, Eric Singer-Kiss-Alice Cooper, Mike Terrana-Yngvie Malmsteen, and of course Gene Krupa. "Keep ON Keepin On" is his motto. Don has come back to the fold after a 2 year hiatus. He also books local bands to the Rocklahoma concert event in South Dakota. 


Richard Jones - Bass and Vocals

Over thirty years of experience playing guitar, bass, keyboards and singing, have contributed to the style and energy that you see today. Everything from blues to country, from jazz to heavy metal, are the influences that have helped to shape this unique talent.
Playing in a variety of local bands in Arizona, California and Texas, doing covers and original music. Bands like Tarantula and Heathcliffe based in the Phoenix area in the 70's.  Moving to So. Cal. with The Heat, then to the Big D with Axiom, and back to Phoenix with Blitzkreig and Defiance in the 80's. On to Mourning Would and some miscellaneous roadwork across the Southwest in the 90's. Joining up to form Strange Brew in the mid 2000’s and Arctic Black in 2010 the music lives on, still growing and evolving. Richard uses Ibanez and Music Man basses and Acoustic amplificaton.
